Marc D purchased his Lotto Max tickets on PlayNow because it’s convenient. That decision to buy on PlayNow paid off recently: His numbers were drawn for the new Lotto Max Maxiplus prize!
Lotto Max now offers additional $100,000 prizes called Maxiplus with each draw; the number of Maxiplus $100,000 prize draws corresponds to the jackpot amount. Lotto Max had a $10 million jackpot on May 22, 2026, meaning the game also had 10 additional prize draws of $100,000 each.
Marc’s quick-pick numbers (6,13,19, 22, 27, 31, 34) matched those drawn for the seventh of the ten Maxiplus prizes. Another ticket sold in Quebec had the same numbers, meaning Marc split the $100,000 prize.
When asked how he felt about his unexpected $50,000 win, Marc shared that he was completely shocked. “I was quite surprised! I just never expected this amount,” he exclaimed.
While he had mentioned his win to his boss to arrange time off to attend his win interview, Marc explained he was still figuring out how to share his good news with others. “I am surprised and excited, but I’m someone who’s usually low key.” Sharing PlayNow Manitoba’s first Maxiplus win is not low key!
Marc is still figuring out how to spend his winnings; he expects that travel and spoiling his family will be part of his plans.
