Budget your money

Keep the game fun by setting a weekly deposit limit. Rest easy when you decrease your limit - it happens right away.

Take a small break

Sometimes you just need to rest up for a bit. You can take a break by locking your account anywhere from 24 hours up to 3 months. We’ll be here when you’re ready to play again.

You can use this feature continuously to take a longer break should you choose to.

Set a time limit

It's easy to lose track of time when you’re having fun. Set a maximum amount on your playing time.

Did you know you can set the limit to either daily or weekly?

How to set limits

How to set a weekly deposit limit

  1. In the My Account menu, click on My Budgets
  2. Under Budget tools in the Weekly Deposit limit section, click "Edit Limit".
  3. Set your limit and click on "Set Limit".
  4. Confirm your limit.

Note: Decreasing your limit happens immediately.

How to set a limit on your playing time

  1. In the My Account menu, click on My Budgets
  2. Under Time Management Tools in the Set a Max on your Playing Time section, select daily or weekly.
  3. Drag the slider to set the time.
  4. Click Set Limit.
  5. Confirm your limit.

Note: Poker does not affect your Max. The PlayNow Poker client and Poker app has its own time management tools built in.

How to set a short-term account lockout

  1. In the My Account menu, click on My Budgets
  2. Under Take a break in the Short-Term Account Lockout section, click on the field or calendar icon.
  3. Select the date you wish to play again.
  4. Click Start My Lockout.
  5. Confirm your lockout.

Note: If you choose to lock yourself out for 2 days at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday, you will not be able to access PlayNow.com again until 3:00 pm on Thursday. This lockout does not apply to Poker. The PlayNow Poker client and Poker app has its own Account Lock tool built in.

How to set Poker limits

You can easily set time and money limits directly within the Poker client and Poker app on the "Game Limits" tab. For more information about setting limits while playing poker, please read the Setting Limits page.
