A quiet night at home turned into a roaring celebration for Winnipeg winner Amanda T!
$200,880.00
Congratulations Amanda!
She had settled in to watch TV and play Lion Link Prosperous Rooster, and after some smaller wins she decided to take a chance at a few larger wagers. She bet $20, and reached the game’s bonus – the Lion Link feature.
The Lion Link area shows a series of ball shapes, and players get three spins to try to earn more ball shapes. Players receive more spins in the Lion Link feature each time a ball shape appears to fill a space on the grid. Amanda was watching as a ball landed in the final empty space on her reel, and immediately was in disbelief.
“It took me what felt like a minute to think through everything. I thought, “Did I just win $200,000?’ And then all of a sudden the amount started to tick, tick, tick into my account. I knew I did! I really did win $200,000!”
In fact, Amanda had won Lion Link Prosperous Rooster Grand Jackpot of $200,000, plus each of the game’s mini, medium, and max prizes for additional prizes on the same spin of $880!
She immediately told her son, and shared the news with her brother the next day.
“You hear about people winning these grand jackpots, but you definitely are not playing while thinking it will happen to you,” she explained why in the PlayNow Winners Lounge. “I am in such disbelief. It’s a really weird feeling that I’m still trying to wrap my head around!
Amanda is still considering how to use her winnings, but she described how she plans to “do some responsible adult things along with some foolish things.” She plans to pay her bills first, and later hopes to take a trip to Jamaica. The rest of her winnings will be used for retirement savings.
Congratulations, Amanda!
